Rocking Horse Restoration
In 2000 we were asked to restore a family heirloom, a splendidly carved Ayres rocking horse on safety stand, called 'Mr Dapple'. The owners were delighted with the result and asked us to make a copy, but this time on bow rockers, to be known as 'Mrs Dapple'.

 | At the request of the customers, we made this version of Mr Dapple on bow rockers after the event. Working from memory and using photos taken by us during the course of restoration of the original on safety stand, we were able to design appropriate templates for the new body and suitable bow rockers.
